DATA & SUPPORT

Support the collection, access the data

Collecting data south of 60°S has a real cost — scientific instruments, Starlink Ocean satellite connection, polar logistics. This expedition is not commercial. Your support directly funds the collection. In return, we share what we find.

Observations at these latitudes are rare by nature. Sarah, a marine biologist specialising in cetaceans, coordinates the scientific programme with a particular focus on whales and Type D orcas — an ecotype so poorly documented that every sighting carries real scientific value. Some data is already shared freely with colleagues. The rest is accessible here in exchange for support towards collection costs.

We are happy to provide suggested citation formats adapted to your publications.

Why financial support?

This expedition is not commercial. But collecting data south of 60°S has a real cost: scientific instruments, Starlink Ocean connection, logistics in isolated zones. Your support directly funds the collection and helps maintain the quality of observations throughout the circumnavigation.
